I have over thirty years of experience as an editor (books, book chapters, scientific journal articles, theses, dissertations, grants, popular writing) and writer (chapters, scientific journal articles, grants, nonfiction and fiction). Nonfiction prize winner in Lit. mag. contests, finalist in Lit. mag. fiction contest.

 

My goal is to help writers produce a manuscript that expresses their message best in a voice appropriate to their intended audience. I ensure that their material exhibits correct grammar and syntax and adheres to the style required: Concise and descriptive for academic articles, chapters, or books and dramatic for popular writing.

 

My favorite books are To Kill a Mockingbird and The Sound and the Fury. I lived in East Africa for nearly 3 years studying baboons and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
