Hi,

I am sorry to be honest, but the edited document is a lot different from our expection. We appreciate that you did a very detailed editing (it seems like), but many sentences are changed unnecessarily a lot and now we have to check every single sentence to see if the meaning is changed/not. We just looked for minimum corrections on "grammatically wrong" parts and I think we put this in our request. And you have changed the style of every in-text citations (i.e. and -> &) even though we told you that the format is already set in the journal's requirements. Now we have to change everything back. Additionally, this is what we missed to tell in the request so it might be our fault but you have removed all highlights; the highlights were there for a reason (to mark changed parts to the journal reveiwers, if you know about the journal peer-review process and revision), and now we have to go back and find each part to highlight it again... In overall, we feel like you made changes more than necessary (and some suggestions were about something not necessarily needed for editing, e.g. term of smart clothing vs. smart healthcare clothing... this is our field, the two are different).

As a result of all, we're now taking a significant amount of time to read through and make the manuscript back to our intention. I guess this is not the feedback that you'd like to hear, but wanted to share it so that you may want to consider it when editing something that has the similar requests with ours. Is it possible that we start from the original manuscript and get it edited again as we asked? If not, that's fine, we'll just take this as an experience.
