The editor is recommended by a friend. He told me that the editor is very professional and pays attention to details. But for my experience, I am not satisfied with this experience overall. I feel like the editor rushed through the editting and didn't pay much attention to details. 

First, the file was literally uploaded 12:00 am, one minute after the due time. This is not a problem by itself. But after I read what I got, I feel like the editor just started a few hours before the deadline. For example, there are explanations in the beginning about why she made such changes but not in the latter part of the paper. Acutually this is one of the merits my friend told me when he recommended the editor.

Most importantly, there are mistakes in the editting and a lot of inconsistencies, which could have been avoided if the editor doublechecked the paper. Just to name a few.

1. The editor added "so" to a sentence with "since" alreadly.

2. The editor changed a sentence from "although..., ..." to "..., so...", which completely changes the meaning of my original sentence. 

3. I made several consistent mistakes in the paper, the editor only changed some of them but not all of them.

4. I still spotted a lot of mistakes in the draft after it was editted. 

I understand that it is impossible to spot all mistakes for a long paper. But given the price charged as well as the fact that the editor has seven days to do it, I am not satisfied with the quality of the editting service.
